I hear ya brother. I have never had a ticket that I didn't deserve and only one I fought, simply because I did have a legitimate excuse (they knocked it down from $30 to $15 which wasn't worth the half day I took off from work to fight it.)

I'm astounded sometimes how I forget to read the signs, or assume I already know what the sign says when in fact I don't. I got a $40 ticket 2 weeks ago parking in a area I have parked many times before simply because I parked just ahead of the area designated for parking. I just assumed I was ok...doh!

I agree. It can't be a great job. I have yet to hear a kid say, "Hey when I grow up I want to dish out parking tickets for a living so my day can consist of angry adults swearing at me and threatening to physically abuse me."

Have to say that I agree with you about parking tickets. I always hate myself when I get caught out and get mad for about 30 seconds trying to blame everybody else but then very quickly I realize that it was all my fault and if I had the patience to park correctly it wouldn;t have been a problem. I do feel massively sorry for the guys handing out the tickets though as they really are on a hiding to nowhere!
